As part of a sponsorship deal with MacArthur Airport, we received advertising space in the airport. I chose this location so we could create an interactive experience. Fans were encouraged to take a picture next to their favorite player (2013-14 season) or their favorite moment in Islanders history that happened at the Coliseum (2014-15 season). From October to March, we awarded tickets to an upcoming home game to the person who submitted our favorite fan photo. We received submissions pretty much every week. For the record--the player images from the 2013-14 season proved to be more popular.
